14 Feb The Story


February 14 Revolution in Bahrain is part of the Arab spring revolutionary wave that swept the middle east   demanding Justice,Equality, Freedom and Democracy.Shortly after the down fall of Hosni Mubark in Egypt calls from Facebook & Twitter started from Bahraini youth to start demonstrating aiming to achieving greater political freedom and later on expanded to a call for the end of the Monarchy of King Hamad following a deadly night raid on 17 February at the Perl Roundabout in Manama. On the anniversary of the country's 2002 constitution, demonstrations in a "day of rage" across the island at least 25 people injured, and one man dead after suffering severe head trauma.The protesters want changes to the country's constitution, an elected prime minister, the release of political prisoners, and an end to the use of torture.
